
Dr. Melusi Ernest Msomi
Dr Melusi Ernest Msomi holds a PhD in African Languages and is a dedicated lecturer in isiZulu language studies. He teaches at university level and is actively involved in research focused on indigenous languages, language policy, and mother-tongue education. His academic interests include sociolinguistics, decolonial theory, and the advancement of isiZulu in higher education. Dr Msomi has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and conferences, and he is committed to the promotion and preservation of African languages. His work supports curriculum transformation and multilingualism in post-apartheid South Africa. He has been recognised for his academic excellence and continues to mentor emerging scholars in the field of African language studies.
